Helen and Ben

Parkview Manor Wedding

A fairytale wedding for this perfect pair

Helen and Ben’s wedding at Parkview Manor in Toronto was a vibrant celebration filled with excitement and joy. From the moment they met on Hinge, they knew they had found their perfect match, and their wedding day reflected their fairytale love story.

Despite a bit of rain in the morning, the weather cleared up perfectly, setting the stage for a memorable summer celebration. Helen and Ben did their first look at York University with the gorgeous backdrop of vine walls where they exchanged gifts and read personal letters to each other.

Helen dazzled in an A-line lace dress and cathedral veil for the ceremony and reception, while Ben looked sharp in a modern black suit with a bowtie. The colour palette of purples for the bridal party added a regal touch to the day. To add to the beautiful colours, Helen and Ben changed into their red Chinese traditional outfits for door games and tea ceremony.

The couple's grand entrance into reception was a highlight, with NBA-inspired player introductions showcasing custom statistics and fun facts about the bridal party. Their custom Nike Air Forces added a unique touch, perfect for the dancing later in the evening.

The bride's touching father-daughter duet—met with a standing ovation—were among the many heartfelt moments throughout the night. Guests had a blast participating in the shoe game, adding to the interactive fun of the day.

Parkview Manor’s beautiful candle wall backdrop and the couple’s personal touches on the decor made their wedding day truly special, combining romance with a lively and memorable celebration.

Helen and Ben’s wedding was a whimsical blend of personal touches and themes. The groom and groomsmen made a grand WWE-themed entrance, while the couple replaced a traditional unity ceremony by painting thumbprints into a heart on canvas. A Beauty and the Beast theme shone throughout, with enchanted roses in glass as centrepieces and a first dance to "Tale As Old As Time," sung by the bride with personalized lyrics inspired by their love story.
